Joshua B’s first charity music video drops…

I’m so sorry to say that post-production has been completed and that I can now present to you the finished video accompaniment to my cover of Rebecca Black’s Friday. Neither BingPop, the Southern Tier AIDS Program nor Joshua B can be held responsible for any emotional and/or psychological stress you experience while watching this video. It might also be better to sit down first. And swallow some kind of anti-anxiety medication. The producers would like to thank Carlo Rossi for their generous contribution to the development of this video.

I’m mainly making it public so that it’s harder to blackmail me in the future…

HUGE thank you to Damien from On Point Productions in downtown Binghamton for the audio. (Also to Renee Clark, Lori, and Sean Burdick for helping with the video. Though you may regret that you were ever associated with this project…)

Um, this is the best music video I’ve ever seen.

  • Russ The BIG Guy responded:

Well, at least he didn’t really know the words.

  • Greg Keeler responded:

Joshua, you are a very, very brave man.

  • Joshua responded:

Brave? To share my unparalleled talent with the world? I consider it my duty.

BingPop is pop culture. It’s Binghamton News, nightlife, and art. It’s Endwell, Endicott, and Johnson City. What’s going on downtown after 5 and where’s the hot new restaurant to grab lunch. It’s a catalogue of the quirkiest stuff in Broome County and instant updates from a ton of reliable (and occasionally not so reliable) sources.

Where’s that neat little brunch place in Whitney Point and what’s the newest chain to open its doors on the Vestal Parkway. We’ll talk about the staples: Boca Joe’s, Number 5, and the Cyber Café West. What’s must-see at the Art Mission Theater and who’s showing at the Brunelli Gallery. And the latest show to be announced at the Broome County Arena.

But you’ll also know what’s up and coming before it’s come up. Mostly, it’s all about the Southern Tier. With a nice bit of trash about Paris Hilton and Brad Pitt folded in for flavor. And although it’s true: we do [heart] Binghamton. It doesn’t mean we always gotta be nice...
