Ummm, so what’s this BingPop.com thing?
It’s a blog.
Well, duh.
But so what. I’m just another guy with a blog. Big deal.
Except here’s the thing. I moved to Binghamton about two years ago. And think it’s a pretty cool place. But just like every where else, people find things not to like. “There’s not enough to do.” “Everybody moves away after high school.” “There’s no Cheesecake Factory.”
And OK, that last thing may actually be a serious problem.
But as for the rest, I just don’t buy it.
So here’s our mission: Let’s liven this place up a bit. Where are the hot places to hang out? Where can we find the best food in town? What are the funkiest new shops in town?
But it won’t all be local–in fact, a lot of it won’t be. Our mission is to keep people up to date on pop culture–with a Binghamton twist.
